Colleague Profile – Claire Bajurny
Hello! I am Claire Bajurny, an English-speaking Educational Therapist and Learning Specialist based in The Hague, Netherlands. I support secondary students in international schools, and particularly focus on offering guidance to students with ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and executive functioning difficulties. My greatest motivation is empowering students to believe in themselves and develop the resilience and independence needed to thrive, both in their academics and in shaping their identity.
My practice focuses on improving students’ confidence, independence, and academic skills through individualised, tailored support. My approach is holistic, strengths-based, and I value giving students a voice and choice in goal-setting. I consistently foster a growth mindset as I guide my students towards greater self-advocacy, and promote inclusion and anti-racism in all my work.
My extensive international teaching experiences across South-East Asia, Europe, and North America allow me to connect effectively with students and families navigating new homes, languages, and school environments. My career as a Learning Specialist in international education led me to launch my private practice, Trillium Learning, in 2019, offering in-person and e-learning support to students in international school programs. Working with international students as they complete their programs of study is something I genuinely enjoy, and I feel very fortunate to have met so many wonderful students over the years!
When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me travelling, cooking, staying active outdoors or at the gym, and listening to music with friends and family!
