Colleague Profile – Chelsea McFarland

Chelsea grew up and completed her studies in California before relocating to the Netherlands. For the past five years, she has worked as a School Psychologist, supporting children of all ages in their academic, social, and emotional development. She is currently extending her expertise by completing a PhD in psychology.

Chelsea has extensive experience working with children with ASD, ADD/ADHD, Down Syndrome, learning differences, and behavioral challenges. She is skilled in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, interpreting data, and developing individualised education plans (IEPs). Drawing on evidence-based interventions, she works collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to foster inclusive and supportive learning environments.

Dedicated and compassionate, Chelsea is passionate about helping families and children succeed both at home and in school. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys travelling, learning new things, and meeting new people.
